Santa Figures

The Soviet version of Santa Claus is Grandfather Frost that pronounced as "Ded Moroz" in Russian. He almost looks like Santa, but Grandfather Frost wears a red or silver long lap fur coat. He using the white troika (three horses harnessed abreast), not reindeers for his New Year journey. Grandfather always travels with his merry granddaughter Snegurochka (Snow Maiden) together. Snegurochka helps bringing New Year gifts and provides a New Year party for children near Christmas tree.
