Snegurochka or Snegurka is the Russian version of the Snow Maiden.

Snegurochka is made of snow.

She first appeared in Russian folklore in the 19th century.

In old Russia, Snegurochka became a part of the Christmas celebration, in the form of figurines to decorate the evergreen tree.

Snegurochka looks like a beautiful young girl with long plaited hair and she wears a long lap fur coat.

Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost is the Russian Santa Claus) is her Grandfather.
