Baba Yaga – glass ornaments

Baba Yaga is an old harridan in Slavic mythology who dwells in the dense forest in a hut standing on chicken legs.

She flies around in a mortar with a broom in her hands.

Generally, Baba Yaga is a very malignant, vindictive and subtle person.

She is a character of numerous Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian folk tales.

Andreas Johns said, “Baba Yaga is one of the most memorable and distinctive figures in eastern European folklore.”
